What do wrestlers gain at Legacy’s Wresting Academy?
Each member obtains personal attention throughout their training; wrestlers will improve on their strengths, and learn how to correct their weaknesses. We focus on proper positioning, offensive, and defensive stance and proper attacks. Each practice covers technique drills and counters, wrestling from scramble positions, always adding more knowledge and experience of techniques from three main wrestling positions. Every session ends with a recapture of previously learned techniques and drills.

It is critical that each wrestler understands how to adapt and overcome various opponents’ style of wrestling. Wrestling is a difficult and challenging sport; thus, each member undergoes techniques drills, situational wrestling, demanding strength and conditioning specific for competitive wrestling. Wrestlers gain the strength and confidence to compete in the sport and benefit from the rewards of full accomplishment.

What is important for Legacy Wrestlers?
Confidence, Trust, Motivation and Hard Work is what has set Legacy Wrestlers apart from the rest of the pack. Confidence is just as important as every technique that is taught. Confidence is reached with positive reinforcement and proper encouragement. With each practice, Confidence will grow, until each wrestler feels and trusts in his abilities. Coach Noriega portrays confidence in his coaching which transfers to each wrestler through trust and motivation. The Hard Work ethic is instilled through positive reinforcement, encouragement and repetition of proper technique drills.
